5 FRUITS AND VEGETABLES A DAY

Painting, drawing, still life, serial vegetables workshop.

Imagine and draw for each day of the week your lunch to achieve a series of still lifes.

MONDAY: You eat grated carrots in your favorite plate, the one with the blue edges. You draw your meal.

TUESDAY: You eat again from this plate, this time these tomatoes, and you draw your meal.

and so on.

 

For each of our exhibitions, we invite Rouen artist Sophie Grassart, aka TIGRE, to offer a creative workshop for children. TIGRE is a place where art workshops for children and teenagers, a children’s library and a cultural programme dedicated to young people coexist.

The place is run by Sophie Grassart who mixes her personal artistic concerns with contemporary and traditional practices, techniques borrowed from the plastic and manual arts, and materials of all kinds. There is first a visit to the Photographic Centre, then the team takes the children to TIGRE located 10 minutes walk away at 45 rue Molière, for the practical workshop.
