NEW YORK STOREYS

Thursday 19 May, 8pm

To echo the exhibition Evelyn Hofer, New York, the Centre photographique joins forces with the metropolitan short film festival Le Courtivore to explore the great edifice that is New York City in our collective imagination. From the César-nominated documentary by the young director Giacomo Abbruzzese to William Klein’s experimental Broadway by Light, praised by Orson Welles in his day, and contemporary French animation, New York is explored through the personal stories (of migration in particular) and dreams it inspires.
