DOUBLOE GUIDED TOUR

Sarah Moon • Ceija Stojka

Saturday, July 4, 3:00 p.m., meet at the FRAC

DOUBLE-EXHIBITION TOURS

To foster a dialogue between the exhibition and Sarah Moon’s work and that of her contemporaries, art history, and other media, the Centre Photographique, in partnership with FRAC Normandie and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen, is offering two double-exhibition tours.

In partnership with FRAC Normandie – Sotteville-lès-Rouen

Originally scheduled for Saturday, June 27

A combined tour exploring the work of Ceija Stojka (1933–2013) at FRAC Normandie’s Sotteville-lès-Rouen site, followed by a visit—just a short walk away—to the Sarah Moon exhibition at the Jardin des Plantes pavilion, with the flower as a shared motif.

About the exhibition at the FRAC: As part of the Normandie Impressionniste festival and in partnership with the Christophe Gaillard Gallery, the FRAC Normandie presents a groundbreaking exhibition dedicated to the Austrian Romani artist Ceija Stojka. A painter and poet, her work has made her an indispensable witness to the Nazi genocide of the Romani people. Through more than 60 works—including drawings, paintings, and postcards—the exhibition traces the years she spent in the hell of the concentration camps, while paintings of idyllic, colorful landscapes evoke her happy and free nomadic life in a caravan before and after the war.
