Echoing the exhibition Notre jardin, the philosopher and sociologist Jacques Leenhardt will approach the garden as a form of creation studied from the angle of its insertion in the aesthetic, social and political imagination.

Jacques Leenhardt, philosopher and sociologist, is director of studies at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (Paris) where he directs the EFISAL research team: Imaginary and social functions of art and literature. Art critic (Honorary President of the International Association of Art Critics, AICA) He works on art and literature, particularly in the Latin Americas. Art critic and exhibition organizer, he has devoted himself for years to landscape, and has notably studied at length the modern gardens of Roberto Burle Marx in Brazil.
